Taiji Huabao provides SaaS management solutions to the national leading insurance corps in China. 

• Built multiplatform(Web/Cloud; Android and iOS) insurance internal management and fraud prevention SaaS products and collaborated with UI/UX, Engineering, and testing teams using Agile/Scrum methodology

• Proposed using police body cameras for video recording which increased revenue by 30%

• Conducted customer interviews and incorporated/updated feedback into user stories and PRD

• Communicated and improvised strategic roadmaps with the clients and developers and conceptualized requirements and ideas into MVPs for Android-based body cameras. 

• Took leadership in designing and testing the prototype of the file-sharing feature on the web-end and body cam-end using Axure. Designs were accomplished and implemented one sprint before the expected time.

• Produced market research reports and successfully identified new agricultural insurance industry customers. Proposed integrating drone uses in agriculture damage assessment to the multiplatform solution.

Data Analyst Intern @University of Minnesota, Twin Cities                                                                      March 2020 - August 2020

• Published Journal Paper: Quantifying the traffic impacts of the COVID-19 shutdown, Journal of Transportation Engineering, Part A: System, Co-Author, Raphael Stern

• Analyzed traffic data to study the effects and the recovery of COVID-19 in the Twin Cities, the regionality of traffic effects, and subsequent recovery trends using Python(Panda, Numpy, Matplotlib).

• Collaborated with MnDOT, UMN-Duluth and quickly learned the customized software to gather data from all the traffic detectors across the greater Twin-Cities metro area and clean large volumes of data, and identify the main time frame for pre-covid and after-covid traffic volume comparison.

Product Manager/Undergraduate Research Assistant @ University of Minnesota, Twin Cities

• Pediatric surgery research: A mobile app to track proper use for children to help with opioids overdose (Available on Apple Store: PainMed Tracker)

• Worked with pediatric doctors, nurses, patients' parents, and child patients to conduct user interviews, produce prototypes for the Android app, and be responsible for front-end development on Android Studio.
